  • Overview

    The Admissions Assistant will perform a wide range of administrative support tasks such assisting in the coordination and scheduling of client appointments. Additionally, the Admissions Assistant will track schedules and provide updates to the Admissions and Operations departments. The Admissions Assistant will be responsible for direct support to the Admissions Supervisor.  This is a full time, non-exempt position located at CARDs Corporate Headquarters in Woodland Hills, CA.


    • Represent CARD policy enthusiastically
    • Represent CARD professionally and ethically to internal and external stakeholders
    • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and CARD information
    • Create and modify documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Schedule and update CARD’s scheduling system for the Clinical staff
    • Track and analyze cancellations and reschedule appointments
    • Work effectively with management
    • Provide general administrative and scheduling support for the Admissions department and centers
    • Handle incoming phone calls via our Admissions call center, and provide guidance to families going through the admissions process
    • Communicate and maintain positive relationships with CARD clients, local and corporate clinical staff, and local and corporate operations team


    • High School Diploma
    • 1+ years of work experience or related field
    • 1+ years of customer service experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
    • Good decision making and problem solving ability
    • Ability to effectively and efficiently apply time management skills to multitask
    • Self-motivated and clearly focused on the tasks assigned to them
    • Works well in teams and has the ability to work independently with little or no supervision
    • Basic knowledge of principles and practices of office equipment
